Best-selling fishing trip with Tirpitz history

Cruise, catch some fish and delve into local history, visiting the place where the Tirpitz was bombed in 1944.

Join us on this fascinating tour on our Luxury Catamaran or our Cabin Cruiser.

This is no ordinary fishing trip! As soon as you're aboard, you'll notice the warm and cosy atmosphere. We always have warm coffee and tea waiting for you, for example. Our panoramic salon is the best place to be while slowly sailing or cruising to the fishing area, with views across the sea towards the island of Tromsø. After a short trip, you'll soon be able to start fishing. Of course, we cannot offer a 100% guarantee that you'll catch something, but we're feeling pretty confident! We'll then cook the very fresh fish for you on our way back to the city. Always a success.

We will also also visit the wreck of the Tirpitz, an old German battleship, which was bombed by the British in 1944 just outside of Tromsø. More than 900 people died that day (over half of the crew). The "Tirpitz" and the sister ship "Bismarck" were the largest battleships in the German Navy Kriegsmarine during World War II. The ship had been stationed in Norway since 1942 and was eventually sunk after several Allied attacks near Tromsø in 1944. The ship was bombed in Alta by British aircraft on September 15, 1944 (British aircraft operated from Soviet airports). On October 15, the damaged Tirpitz headed to Tromsø, where it was sunk on November 12, 1944.
